Global View for Collections?

I’m running Omega and it seems like, at least with most skins, I now need to manually customize the view for each individual movie collection, instead of all Movie Collections sharing a global setting. I don’t recall this being the case in the past. Is there some way to lock down Movie Collections to a single, global view?
