Long time Plex user frustrated with transcoding and streaming media we don’t like. I just want my wife to have access to our family movies when I pass. Many on Reddit say Kodi is my answer. Installed from Microsoft (per one website) as I am on a 64 bit PC. When I hit run as administrator all I get is a black screen. Read Wiki and it said to delete db file. Did that, uninstalled and reinstalled but it did not make a difference. Then I read hit the backspace key?? Really. So I did that and I still have nothing. So I uninstalled again and this time redownloaded from Kodi not Microsoft. Did not make a difference. I know this is probably a no brainer, but this old fart does not know what to try now.
