Logitech/MCE Remote Stop button (only) stopped working

I just updated my windows 10 / htpc box with the Anniversary Update. After tweak the system and making sure everything is working I noticed my stop button has suddenly stopped working. Play, pause, skip, etc all still work. I looked in the debug log and I see the APPCOMMAND codes for play, stop etc all being received and responded to, but there is nothing registered when I press stop. My remote shows it’s sending the command, and by IR repeater shows it is receiving a command from the remote. And nothing changed with the remote. So I realize this is probably not a Kodi direct problem, but hoping someone here may be able to lend some insight. I can’t seem to find anything on the net relating to remote buttons not working with the anniversary update.
