Music and Videos joined

Hi.
May I ask what is the point of separating on main menu Videos and Music? Why can they just be named Media or something.
The point is that users do not see Music files under Video (if not advanced settings are not tweaked) and vice verse. and i see in many cases that they then just say that there is no content.
