Fire TV OS ver. 5.2.1.1 – Won’t allow Kodi to launch

My Kodi on Fire TV Stick has worked fine for 2 months. I believe this latest OS ver. 5.2.1.1 of Fire TV has prevented Kodi from launching. I get a “This app is not associated with your Amazon account.” Has anyone else experienced this yet? And if so, is there any solution found?
