Hi,
I’m new here but have been reading here for a while.
I have the following ‘problem’:
Setup: raspberry pi3 model b + xbox360 wireless controller (with usb dongle for wireless connection). A mamouse and Keyboard can be connected if necessary.
The problem is this:
-if i do a clean install of kodi 17 bèta (libreelec 7.90.008) then the xbox controller is detected on startup, so all is well. In the settings menu i can see the controller in the peripherals list and the options for controllers is enabled.
-if i install kodi 16.1 (libreelec 7.0.2) then the controller is not supported (i read this has something to do with the kernell or that xboxdrv isn’t supported properly, anywya that’s why i want the upgrade). And when i upgrade to mooi breelec 7.90.008 with the .Tar file in the updates folder, it does the update correctly to kodi 17 bèta but the controller is not detected. In the settings menu the controller is not listed in the peripherals list and the options for controllers are disabled (grayed out).
The only reason i want to do it with an update is because i want a dual boot of retropie and kodi but for the moment there are only multiboot images available that install kodi 16.1 and the controller doesnt work there.
Can anyone help me please?
