I seem to get a “Windows generic” Kodi no longer responding error message with Kodi 17 on startup – I’ve been getting it for quite some time but have only manage to get hold of a log file: http://pastebin.com/KsdwyZ5Q
I seem to be getting this on both my main HTPC and Laptop both running Windows 10 (RPI2 running the latest Millhouse builds seem not be affected – or not that i have noticed, but these devices do not get restarted as much)).
The error happens as soon as Kodi starts and always when the PVR guide is being imported, usually when the guide hasn’t been imported for a period of time (i waited 24hrs to be able to capture the log above). Once i get the error, i have to usually restart kodi twice until the import is finished, this doesn’t happen every time, i guess it depends how much data needs to be imported? although i guess there’s a lot going on at start up so i’m just resuming it’s the import guide here.
Not sure if this is a Kodi 17B issue, DVBLogic addon or maybe another addon/skin issue or something else! the fact i can reproduce this on different window machines would rule out a hardware issue?
I haven’t learnt the fine art of reading a Kodi’s log file yet! any interpretation would be gratefully received!
