I have that problem for years on different windows 7 installations.
When i do a fresh install (not overwrite old installation) with not much libraries attached to music/videos the crash frequency is lower, but it exists anyway.
That happens when you try to change fast volume up or down during a movie/song is playing – for example i keep pressed + or – key for 5-10sec.
That also happens when using Yatse (android) to control Kodi.
Tried uninstall (with delete all and changing paths), reinstalling from the scratch, different versions – from the official to latest night versions – all they have this problem… My guess is that this has something with buffers or Json’s , but not sure ….
That is most recent log (17.0-BETA6 Git:20161111-a458002). Platform: Windows NT x86 32-bit:

The installation is clean with no additional ADD-ON or other stuff installed.
It will be great if someone can take a look and suggest a solution.
If you need some more info please let me know to provide it.
