Hi
I am new to Kodi and new to Raspberry Pi, so please excuse the naivety of this post. I have bought MicroSD chip which features the pre-installed Kodi on the back of a minimalist OpenELEC and LibreELEC OS. All is well and It boots up just fine, HOWEVER, whilst it connects to the net, what it doesn’t connect to are my network drives that contain my personal photos, videos, music etc. My network drives are on a Synology NAS drive.
The problem with the system as I see it, is that I’ve not yet seen where the basic OS can be accessed. All I see is the KODI desktop, not what sits underneath.
Is there a config file that can be edited in there somewhere (done when using Raspberian, or some other OS), that will enable the boot-up to include an auto-mounting of the appropriate network drives in the background so that Kodi can be configured to display the photos, music and videos, please?
Thanks in advance
Martin
