Hey all!
Experienced Kodi user here. Simple setup.
I have a main media center machine (windows 7) working great. I have a few shares on it and other laptops and desktops connected to it that run OS10 and windows 7/10 work great!
Except for this android box…..
Android TV box. Using Kodi from the google store.
From the android box, I setup a movie content folder and it finds all the movies and adds them to the library. Its coming from a windows share. BUT, when I add new content to that folder, it WILL NOT ADD IT to the library. It just refreshes for like a second, then completes and finds nothing new….
BUT, if I set the content to NOTHING, then back to MOVIES it will re-scan and find all the new things. It will just never find anything new if I just add it to the share folder its connected too.
I can go into videos/files and it will see all the videos no prob. Just will not for whatever reason add any new ones 
I have it set to scan for new content at startup.
Am I missing something here??
