Mouse focus and library navigation

I’m loving the new user interface for Kodi v17! I started with Beta 5 and upgraded to a nightly to get rid of the errors with add-ons not being able to be installed/updated.I just updated to the newest Beta 6 last night and still have a few issues (they were also in previous versions). I’m running windows 10 with integrated Intel graphics. I have no additional add-ons installed and use mostly default settings for everything.

1) When I launch Kodi, my mouse doesn’t always have focus on any GUI elements. At first I couldn’t use arrow keys on my keyboard to navigate the menu items. Then I realized that my arrow keys were actually going around icons on my desktop. Once I click somewhere within Kodi it gains focus and everything works as normal
2) When selecting a video from my library, I’ve got the default action set to display information about the movie/tv show/episode. If I choose a TV series from the main menu of Kodi (not within the TV series section, but from something like “recently watched” or “in progress”) it properly displays the information about the TV series. However, from this screen there is no way to choose an individual episode and if I hit the “play” button either nothing happens or it returns me back to the main menu with an error “unable to play video”

I guess I’m looking to see if these are known issues with the betas or if this is a unique problem I’ve ran into.

Sorry I’m away from my machine and don’t have a log handy but am able to provide one later.
