Folks, I hope you can help me out as I am suffering from significantly reduced WAF at the moment.
My system consists of:
Kodi 16.1 (Git:c327c53)
Xubuntu 16.04.1 (x86 32-bit) – (kernel 4.4.0-51)
CPU AMD Athlon II X2 220
NVidia GT730
NVidia Driver 364.19
Whenever I view content, rips of my DVDs and Blu-Rays, I get a horizontal line across the screen where there is some tearing and degraded picture quality.
The artefacts are worse on HD than SD. They are also worse when the screen image is panning rather than static.
I have turned the Interlacer on and set it to auto, but this had no effect. I have tried each of the interlacers individually
with little or no discernible difference. I have video scaling set to auto.
I usually run the Arctic Zephyr skin but I switched to Confluence and tested but again with no difference.
I’m not seeing any obvious errors in kodi.log.
I installed VLC and watched my rip of Star Trek Beyond (Blu-ray) and there was no discernible horizontal line.
Can anyone offer some help to try and resolve this.
Thanks in advance
Gavin
