First off im posting this in windows but I have the same problem on my RPI.
I just moved and after hooking up my Kodi and everything navigating the menus is VERY slow, also starting a movie.

Now im thinking its so slow because I have no internet connection (still have to wait 2 weeks!), and it keeps looking for a connection.
But i have my media (and database) on a seperate server so i cannot turn of the network connection completly
Anybody have any idea if the no internet connection could be the problem and how i can resove it?
