KEEPING AVR ALIVE??

HI,

I have an AVR that is one of those that needs a continous signal to keep ‘awake’

It is a Cambridge Audio Azur 751R.

Despite having ‘keep device alive- ALWAYS’ set on Kodi, it still trips up at the start of some of my ripped music tracks.

You can see from the OSD that the HDMI lock disappears when there is a long enough gap between tracks.

To be clear , this does not affect video at all.

Most annoying.

Because, of the ( extraordinarily complicated 🙂 ) set up on my PC, I can inject my own extremely low level tone/noise before the avr.

As long as the level is above -80db, it triggers the avr into thinking something is playing and it works.

I’m curious though – what level is the continuos noise sent from kodi? – is there any control over the level?- shouldn’t it be doing the same thing?

Many thanks for any help

Keith
