New Kodi User…Now Saying App Not Associated With This Amazon Account

We are new firestick owners and have had the Kodi app for a few weeks. Yesterday when trying to access the app, Kodi fires up as normal, then returns to the firestick home screen saying ‘this app is not associated with your Amazon account’. Any thoughts would be appreciated….thanks.
