Hello – I am a noob to Kodi I have it on my Shield Android TV – today I came home from work and noticed while I had been away Kodi had seemingly updated from 16.1 to 17 – I am concerned something/one has done this or is it just a normal setting that Kodi checks for newer versions? Looking on the Play Store the version there is now indeed 17 not 16.1 as it was when added it to the Shield a few weeks ago – as a precaution I deleted the version that was auto updated and conducted a manual update direct from Play Store but I am concerned that this should happen – is this a normal occurrence or should I get some kind of check done on my Android device ?
Any help or advice greatfully received.
