The search function in Kodi 17 doesn’t seem to work well at all. In previous versions, I was able to type in a song title and it would come up. Now, as far as I can tell, you have to go to the Global Search add on o do any searches. Why can’t I simply go to the search function and have it work? Also, when I type in the name of an artist, I don’t seem to be able to do anything with the result. No list of songs, albums, nothing. Is there some configuration I’m not aware of?
Edit: It works for movies, but no music. Perhaps I need to reinstall the music database.
