Hello,
I’m a first time Kodi user and have Kodi 16.1 Jarvis installed.
I have always used and still am using Mediaportal.
I’ve decided to give Kodi a try.
I have a question about the TV Shows library :
I’ve succesfully added my TV Shows sources from 2 external HDD’s.
With identical folder structure. I now have 2 sources, SERIES and SERIES2
I have noticed that even when HDD 1 is connected,
it still shows content from HDD 2 in the library.
Or even when none of the HDD’s are connected it still
shows all the TV Shows that were added to the library.
In Mediaportal when it’s set to “unwatched” it only shows content from the HDD that is currently connected.
And when you switch the HDD, it shows content from that HDD.
I’ve looked on the forum and through Google and all I have found
was a thread about some add-on called watchdog that’s supposed to do this.
I have tried it, but it doesn’t do what I thought it would do.
I also tried to create an advanced settings xml file, that has the cleanonupdate setting in it,
but that doesn’t seem to do anything.
So in short, is there a way that Kodi can show me the content of the drive that’s currenlty connected,
like in Mediaportal ?
Thanks in advance.
Hoping that some Kodi experts can help me with this
