GUI goes blank – Cursor still making sounds

Hi there , my Kodi 17 installation on my Fire TV is having some issues in the interface and in certain add-ons where it all goes blank but you can hear the sound if pressing up/down, etc. As an example if i go to Settings right now i see all the static components of the skin but no settings options come up. It also happens with certain add-ons. Anyone else having this issue?
