Change Background

Hello, is there any way you can change the background when viewing the menus in Kodi 17? The options, which are in white, are hard to read with multicolored backgrounds. Maybe I could change the size and color of the text? Too much to hope for, I know, but I have to ask. Thanks for the opportunity.
