I am still new to Kodi. (Running OSMC/Krypton on RpI3). I find that my 2TB drive is getting full. The two main folders are the usual MOVIES and TV SHOWS. I want to add another 2TB drive keeping MOVIES on one and TV SHOWS on the other. I originally had trouble setting up OSMC/Kodi. Blank video and a couple other issues. I’d rather not have to set up KODI all over again. I’d prefer to just flush my library and reconfigure my source for TV SHOWS without ending up with duplicate entries.
Before I attempt this, I want to be sure I am doing the right thing. Hence this email.
Videos -> Files -> (Navigate to TV SHOWS folder) -> C-ontext Menu -> Change Content -> change to NONE
Then do the CLEAN LIBRARY. It looks like this will give me options to remove all library entries for the previous TV SHOWS source.
Then go to Videos and reset the source to the folder on the new drive. I assume the scraper will take some time to redo everything. And the only customizing I had previously done were some SETS that the scrapers didnt automatically create.
So… do I have this correct? P.S. I DO have this all backed up on a 4TB drive. But I spent many, many hours doing this and want things to go smoothly as I am new to this.
THANKS!!! Winnie
