Recently I added two YouTube videos to a folder on my NAS drive that I have defined on Kodi (Android/Nvidia Shield Pro) as a favorite location. However, Kodi crashes when I open the folder to view the list of videos. Both of these videos have high resolution (2560 x 1440 for one and 1920 x 1080) for the other. Both use about 30 fps and both list the same codec (H264 – MPEG 4 AVC). Kodi is able to display the folder contents with these files removed. Also, I am able to view both videos with the Android/Nvidia Shield versions of VLC and Plex (with some buffering) from this folder.
Versions of Kodi and Android are up-to-date.
