BluRay 3D

Hi Guys!

My setup is the following:
LG 42LB65 Passive 3D TV
HTPC with support of 3D output from BluRay 3D ISO files (not sure if relevant info)
KODI 17.1 -RC1

Now, my idea is to be able to play a movie from an ISO file, which contains a 3D BluRay movie.
As you know these are frame sequential formats if chosen the 3D option.
No issues playing Over Under formats.

What I want is to fire up KODI, hit play on the BluRay movie and let KODI tell the TV it is a BluRay source, then TV switches to 3D by itself and renders it to me correctly, no setting needed by me.

This can be easily achieved via PowerDVD 16.
I want this with KODI.

So is this possible?
I couldn’t figure it out so far.
I may be missing something really basic if this is an option by default.
Please help me out.

Thank you in advance.

Steve
