I have a KODI (ver. 15.2) installed on a Pi2 (ARMv6, 434MB of memory running Raspbian 4.4.50)
Playing mpeg videos all works ok but when I play an avi file kodi plays only the sound with no video.
I found posts that state the problem is in hardware acceleration so I disabled hardware acceleration with no effect.
I had OMXPlayer and MMAL, I tryed each one alone and complettle disabled acceleration with the same results.
Looking at the Kodi log I found two line which mite be related:
COMXCoreComponent::DecoderEventHandler OMX.broadcom. ….. insufficirnt resources
OMXVideo::Decode timeout
Any hints on what the problem mite be and who to fix it ?
