I have some folder.jpg files in my folder which originally were .gif files. These showed up as thumbnails in Kodi 15 and 16 as well, however now that I switched to Kodi 17 they are transparent. I use these as band logos in my folder structure.
Opening one of the these files via file manager shows only a black background. Renaming it to folder.gif and opening it via file manager then shows the original image. Unfortunately the thumbs are still transparent even after deleting the thumbs folder and textures.db.
Help would be appreciated.
