Kodi keeps stopping

I have it running on a brand new Samsung tablet and it works fine for a few minutes, then stops. As if I hit STOP. I have to go tap the video file and hit resume. Very annoying to do that about 18 times for a 1 hour show.

Any ideas? Krypton 17.
