Hide Addons from Widgets and Menus

As the title suggest I think we should have the ability to hide addons we don’t want to show up in widgets or menus.
Example, let’s say I have video menu selected and a custom widget displaying all the video addons (youtube, twitch and ign). I wanna hide IGN addon so that it doesn’t show up in video addon menu or the custom widget I have set up. Is this possible? Is there an addon that can do this?
