Using latest version of Kodi with default skin.
I have two categories of movies: feature films and exercise videos. I can correctly add some nodes that show just the exercise videos. I can also edit titles.xml to show only feature films by filtering by path.
However, if I go to the main menu, and click on Movies (not any subnodes), then it takes me to a full list of everything categorized as a Movie. Fair enough.
But then I can go into skin settings | Home Items | Movies | Edit Categories, and add a filter that looks like it should apply to the root Movies node. However, if I look at the XML file after the change, it added it to titles.xml, yet it won’t use this filter in the display.
It would be nice to allow the main Movies view to be filterable (or alternatively, make the default skin allow custom home items to get around this in a different way)
