Hi. I’m having trouble with Quasar and the use of an external drive. When using the addon with the internal drive it works great. It simply doesn’t work good with an external drive. Looks like a lot of I/O problems. I’m trying to download NASA 4k movies, and also another documentary that is free. The problem is that When I download the speed bumps up to 10 MB/s for a minute or two, then it plummets to 1 KB/s.
I have heard that there is some problems with external drives with Quasar. Is there a fix for this? I’ve both been trying this on my Sony XD80 with Kodi installed, and also on my S905X tv box (with libreelec).
I’ve tried different settings. Changing cache setting and so on. The format is ext3 if that matters. The drive is connected to USB.
Does anyone have any help to offer? It annoys me a lot! I’ve also tried two different hard drives.
