Music controls always visible?

Hi there. Is there a way to set music player to always show the control buttons, like play/pause, next , info etc? I use an old tablet in the citchen for music/radio streaming and after a while the control dissapears, so if I want to pause music I have to touch the screen randomly to activate the controls then I have my control buttons visible. I wanna bypass the first step somehow.
