Kodi is extremely blurry

Just downloaded Krypton for Windows and when I try to play a movie through an add-on, even the links saying 1080p or HD come up as blurry as if the quality was actually 360p or 480p. I have Kodi on my Android smartphone and using the exact same process (download, installing add-ons, watching a movie in 1080p or HD), movies play just fine with great resolution. Anyone know why this may be? Please and thank you.
