Context Menu doesn’t work correctly ???

Hi there. We have a TV Box with Kodi 16 on it. The box works perfectly fine and Kodi works perfectly fine … almost. We have an external disk on which we have some movie archives and old TV series stored. Those archives are connected to a computer with our home network. With Kodi, using SSH, we have no problem at all gaining access to our external media in order to view our shows. However, when we’re done watching something we can’t delete or rename the file that we’re finished with.

I already looked at several other posts here, providing info. about going to settings/appearance within Kodi, to enable file deletion with the context menu of a keyboard by pressing the “C” key. Well, pressing the “C” key does indeed bring up a context menu … but the options for deleting or renaming files are not included. I can select a group of files and some other options that are useless to me, but nothing specifically related to deleting or renaming listed media files in the Kodi file manager.
Is this a bug in Kodi 16 or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.
