no video

I’m running kodi 17.3 using raspbian (Linux) on a raspberry Pi 3
I have audio but no video
I didn’t have that much until I turned on omxplayer
I think I need vlc addon but I don’t know how to set it up in kodi
Please help I’m real new to kodi
