Very slow Kodi (not tha addons only) on a brand new device

Hi All,

I’ve searched the net and this forum as well for solution without result. I need any help, please.
The problem is the following:
I’ve just bought an Intel NUC (2×1,6 GHz), installed 8 GB RAM, a Toshiba L200 500 GB HDD, all brand new, and added a clean install of Windows 10 pro 64-bit. Previously I used an MXQ S805 for Kodi…

Nothing else is installed on this device beside those softwares came with the OS.
First, I tried Kodi 18.0. I immediately recognized that even the pointer was way too slow. The keyboard was a bit better. I tried to install addons, but failed. The internet connection is good: 60/10 MBit/s.

I’ve tried with the stable versions of 17.3 from more sources including the Windows app store.
When I browse the menu, it is hard to control the controllers, and afterwards, I have to wait ages for installing addons or other repos if even was possible. I could install only 1-2 basic addons in 2 days…
For me it looks like the device cannot cope with the software. But as soon as I change back to Windows, everything works fine, like on the desktop or Edge or anything else. This means the system is slow only when I’m on Kodi “surface”. (pressing the win button, opening any other app in small screen having Kodi in the background and hoovering over the windows surface is all right, but at the area of Kodi the pointer slows down)

I saw videos where Kodi worked so fast, all menu opened up immediately, addons were installed in 1-3 seconds. I guess my hardware should worked in the same way.
