Silly me, I missed the settings option that enables file deletion. Ignore this post… or I guess I should delete the thread?
Hey all,
On the latest version of kodi 16, I can select a show in the TV Show library, bring up the context menu, select Manage and then Remove From Library. This removes the show from the library and with your permission also deletes the show’s folder and the files for each episode. This is of course a very quick and handy way of getting rid of a show when you’re done with it for whatever reason.
In Kodi 17 b3 however, when you select Remove From Library, all it does is remove the show from the TV Show library list. It no longer asks if you’d like the actual files deleted and does not delete them on its own. The extra silly thing is that when you run Update Library, the show is added back again making the Remove From Library option pointless.
Is restoring the proper function of Remove From Library, INCLUDING deleting folder and files, going to be implemented before Kodi 17 proper is released?
Thanks!
