Issue with firestick

I have kodi 17.3. Im new to this, for the first few weeks it’s worked fine. Now, for the past week or so, When I try to search for a movie, a few things will happen depending on the day. Either nothing will load, or they will load but then when I click on them the sources won’t load. Sometimes the sources will load and I’ll click on it and it’ll just take me back to the search screen and do nothing. I just found out now that if I go through the hd new releases, I can watch movies no problem. But the search function still isn’t working. Any idea what’s wrong and why this all of the sudden became a problem when it’s been working flawlessly for weeks? Thanks.
