How to use MadVR to convert HDR to SDR?

Hi. I’m trying to get the best image quality while watching movies. I’m watching 4K HDR Remuxes on my Dell G2724D monitor. My monitor’s HDR performance is bad ( HDR 400 ) so people told me that I should turn off HDR and convert HDR to SDR with MadVR for the best image quality. I got super confused while researching it and thought would ask it here. Thanks for help!
