I have the same issue too!
Windows 11 network share, not enabled SMB 1.0.
It works OK from VLC on iOS, iPad and iPhone.
Not working from VLC Android phone.
On VLC for Android, it connects but it presents empty.
Might be a bug?
Some extra configuration to work around this issue?
