I am running KODI 21 on Android TV 11 mostly as music player. Sometimes due to inconsistencies in meta tags, erroneous entries appear in Music Library. I go and fix meta tags in the files, but this doesn’t get reflected in the library (naturally as the change happened inside the files, which Kodi doesn’t see during Library Update). I thought of using MANAGE option in Context Menu to remove Entry, so that KODI could pull corrected tags during next Library Update. Unfortunately, I found out that there is no MANAGE option in Context Menu in Music, only Video. So I had to use a somewhat cumbersome approach:
1. Fix the tags in the files.
2. Remove Album folder from the source.
3. Clean Library or wait for Watchdog to remove entries.
4. Move Album folder back to the source.
5. Update Library or wait for Watchdog.
If there were MANAGE option, the process would have been way simpler.
1. Fix MP3 tags in the files.
2. Remove Album from Library.
3. Update Library or wait for Watchdog.
Is the missing MANAGE option a bug?
