I have a Nokia Streaming Box 8010 (works with Android TV 11). Playing movies with AV1 codec works great with Kodi on this multi media box.
Now I also have install the VLC Android 3.5.4 app. But playing the AV1 movies with VLC gives no picture (just black screen), only audio.
What’s wrong? Why play Kodi the movies with no problem and VLC not? H264, H265, etc. works good with VLC, but AV1 does not.
