A few days ago I updated Kodi 20 to 21. After the restart, the usual procedure: database migration, addon migration. In addition to the main profile, I use a second profile with its own movie database. The movies it contains are not present in the main profile’s movie database. The same applies vice versa. The second profile’s database movies are stored in a separate path that does not contain any files from the main profile. Skin is Estuary for both profiles.
If I call up the movie info for an entry from the second profile and move the focus to “Update”, the path to the film file is displayed below, and it is correct. If I start the new version manager via “Versions”, Standard Edition is shown to me, but below is the path to a movie file that only occurs in the database of the main profile. The media flags displayed also match this movie from the main profile. This applies to all entries that I have checked, even to movies that I add.
Everything seems to be correct in the main profile. The paths in the version manager match those of the movie info.
Kodi 21 on Windows 10 and CoreELEC 21 on X88 King: In both Kodi under Windows and in CoreELEC, paths to files from the main profile’s movie library are displayed when the version manager is called in the second profile, but they are not the same. Different files are referenced. Which again is the same: If I close Version Manager and Movie Info in the second profile, return to the home screen and then switch to the main profile and open the Movie Library there, it opens at the location of the movie entry that the Version Manager showed in the second profile.
