Slideshow doesn't stop

Hello,
If I play a picture slideshow and then, thru the Kodi web interface I launch a movie while the slideshow is playing, the slideshow doesn’t stop. Is there anyway to solve this ? Seems the movie is playing behind of the picture slideshow player.
