I recently did the “buster to bookwork jump” on my raspberrys with raspbian and kodi.
While the RPI3 works fine so far, my RPi4 leaves me clueless.
IPTV-Simple seems to start (The screen and Yatse show a running stream) but there is no audio and no video just the circles.
The debug-log show no obvious errors, demuxer is created…looks like it’s working

When I start the stream with this url on vlc (outside kodi) audio and video is present so it’s not a network issue – I hope. 🙂
The main differences between the two units are
RPI3 vs RPI4
wired network vs. wireless network
Original Site vs Remote Site connected via “VPN between two Fritz-Box-Routers”
Any thing I missed concerning setup on the RPI4? It’s my first RPI4 with kodi.
Any ideas what might happen here? Thanks in advance
