I have an Apple TV4 with the latest Kodi build (20161010) sideloaded. If I try and access the add-on menu, Kodi crashes and the ATV4 goes back to it’s Home screen.
I can access all the addons in the frequently used bar without problem by scrolling down to Add-ons then scrolling across to the recently used add-ons, but if I press the “Add-ons” menu option, it just crashes. I I scroll across the recently used and then up to “Manage add-ons”, this works fine, but if I then try to go back by clicking on the “..” back button, the same crash.
I have had a problem with all releases since kodi build 20160730. Every release sonce then crashed on startup. I have the TV (Simple PVR client) installed, and after some research, removed the internet address of the channels and logos. This has stopped the crashing on startup, but wondering if having the PVR client installed maybe causing this addon problem too?
On the PVR note, does anyone have a good url to use for the PVR client that has a reasonable amount of working channels and doesn’t cause Kodi to crash on startup?
