Local Actor Images not showing on iMac

I have local artwork for all my actor, poster and fanart images. We travel a lot in a rv coach so I like to keep things self contained yet basic functions looking normal. No internet access. Movies/Shows are kept on a Synology NAS and using the Android Version of Kodi on a Sony SmartTV or on MacOSX. Both are running Omega. So here’s the deal. Movies with local actor artwork is mostly working on the Sony (may just need to delete/reload) and 0% on MacOS. Even the previous version of Kodi wastes way. Posters and Fanart are perfect but go to Information and the actor images, even though they are in the Hidden Folder (.actors), they do not show up. Just a blank. Same if I go to the Actors Category and scan down the list, mostly works on the Sony TV but does not on the iMac….  Any tips?
