I have been trying to resolve this error that keeps coming up since last week:

VLC is unable to open the MRL ‘https://rr2—sn-a5mekndl.googlevideo.c … ilgw%3D%3D’. Check the log for details.
Does anyone have a resolution to this error: I have tried to replace the youtube.luac with youtube.lua; disabled the Windows Defender; I do not have any other antivirus application installed; played with the hardware acceleration (disable, enable); and many of the suggestions provide by others include the youtuber but with no success. I have Uninstalled and re-installed the VLC Media Play few times and still keep getting the same errors.
Any other suggestions? I have tried the video link that I was attempting to play using 5kPlay and succeeded in download the video and play it with the VLC media player. My thought is that there something strange with the youtube.lua or youtube.luac file.
