Vlsub was working fine configured with an account from opensubtitles.org, but not anymore here. Every subtitle now just carries the message to subscribe to a VIP account.
In January 2024 when there was much talk about the API limits, the info given was that if you were under 10 downloads per 24 hours you would be fine (5 for free non-logged-in accounts) but it stopped working for me. I just updated VLC to the latest version, don’t know if that has something to do with this.
I have tested enabling a VPN to see if changing the IP worked but it didn’t help.
