I am a novice. I want to play video files stored on my PC. I loaded VLC 3.5.4 on my Firestick 4K. Browsing – Local Network – it finds my Windows 11 PC “smb” protocol. When I select the Windows PC, VLC says “No Media Files Found”. On the Windows PC, I verified the folder containing the media files is “Shared” and SMB-1 protocol is enabled. On the Windows PC, I tried sharing the folder with myself and also with Everybody (same result). I turned-off the Windows firewall (public and private) (same result).
