Similar problem. From MacOS (13.6) VLC (3.0.21) does not render to recent Chromecast TV 4K.
Although if I cast to older first version of Chromecast — it works! So for some reason modern Chromecast does not accept what VLC feeds. (!)
Problem persists for many months.
