Hi everyone, I run Kodi 21.1 on my Sony A80J and yesterday I noticed a weird issue with a MKV file that I have on an external hard drive.
As I said on the title, black bars are very very big and they partially cut part of the picture off.
You can see a picture here, notice the “Los Angeles” text.
Everything seems fine in video settings and these are the file informations.
What’s really weird is that in the past I always played this exact file correctly, the issue wasn’t there, maybe something happened after a recent app update, who knows.
I also have other files with the exact same specs (4K, 2.40:1, etc.) and all of them are displayed correctly so I really don’t know what to do.
I tried to re-download the same file but the issue was still there.
There’s no problem at all if I play the file on my PC through VLC.
Can I try something else?
